A Paris-based interior architect, designer, and creative director, Parmentier was influenced from a young age by the aesthetic world of civil aviation, contemporary art, and the beauty of everyday life. Parmentier aims to combine sophistication, simplicity, and modernity in his work, playing with noble or raw materials such as marble, travertine, lava, bronze, brass, wood, and leather. He creates furniture and objects that exude emotional resonance, strong narrative, and a sense of exclusivity

Genova Credenza
Drawing on nearly two decades in fashion design and a fascination with the glamour of aviation, Stéphane Parmentier has created a graceful marriage of form and function in his Genova collection. Celebrating both indulgence and restraint, clean lines and rectilinear form recall the heightened modernism of the International Style, while the construction in sumptuous suede creates a sense of incredible warmth and ultimate luxury
Suede, of course, is renowned for its softness and has a long history as a luxury fashion material. Its application here is both a tactile surprise and creates a sense of intimacy. From afar, the credenza appears as hard and rigid as concrete, but when touched, it becomes instantly nostalgic and intensely personal. Like a handsomely structured handbag, it feels almost like an extension of the body while resolutely holding its own in any space
The dark suede base supports the ivory suede body of the cabinet, creating a harmonious balancing effect. Six hidden drawers, three on each end, glide open to reveal gorgeous suede-lined compartments: secret hideaways for precious objects and treasured possessions
