THEODORE PERDIOS

Theodore perdios

Born Lausanne, Switzerland, 1991

A SWISS-GREEK artist, ARCHITECT, and DESIGNER, PERDIOS BRINGS A VISIONARY AND AMBITIOUS LANGUAGE TO THE WORLD OF LUXURY collectible DESIGN. Committed to challenging convention and disrupting the expected, perdios makes ingenious use of BOLD SHAPES to lend his works an unmistakable signature and a singular EMOTIONAL IMPACT. His WORK achieves an exquisite balance between PLAYFULNESS AND SOPHISTICATION, AUDACITY AND ELEGANCE, creating an ethos of bold CREATIVITY that enlivens any space or context

While his vision is rooted in the vocabulary of  FURNITURE AND OBJECT design, his works transcend functionality to become veritable works of art that invite contemplation through their nuanced exploration of bold geometries, architectural volumes, unexpected textures, and dynamic sense of movement

Endlessly curious to discover narratives that allow us to see the world around us anew, perdios carefully crafts EACH work to tell A UNIQUE STORY, each an exploration into UNKNOWN TERRITORIES that explode the boundaries between styles, genres, and artistic disciplines. Designed by perdios in Zurich, his works are handcrafted by master artisans in italy and are exclusive to studiotwentyseven

KLIRONOMIA

AN AMBITIOUS AND CAREFULLY CURATED COLLECTION OF THREE INNOVATIVE ARMCHAIRS,  KLIRONOMIA by perdios is AN ODE TO AVANT-GARDE THINKING and VISIONARY SHAPES. At the intersection of art and design, this bold triptych tells three extraordinary and unique stories that bespeak perdios’s singular talent for weaving narrative into his works to create an experience that is as emotionally impactful as it is visually arresting. Named for the greek word for legacy, the KLIRONOMIA collection invites us to contemplate our place in the rich tapestry that is our shared history. With Monumental volumes that recall the architecture of antiquity and contemporary geometries that point towards the future, PErDIOS reminds us that we are the inheritors of the great human story and have the responsibility to carry It forward

Johan

a study in contrasts, Johan challenges the boundary between stillness and movement, drawing inspiration from architectural theory and sculptural form, particularly the concept of “static motion.” This paradoxical idea—how a heavy, immobile object can suggest movement—became the driving force behind the design. Johan embodies this concept, challenging our perception and inviting contemplation on how stillness can evoke dynamism

Through careful study of architectural masterpieces, including the works of Le Corbusier and Valerio Olgiati, perdios distilled the essence of static motion into a form that is both simple and radical. The chair’s lines and angles are meticulously calculated to create a sense of movement, even as it remains firmly grounded. Its shape is at once commanding and fluid, achieving a balance between strength and grace

The velvet upholstery enhances this effect, adding a layer of softness that contrasts with the chair’s bold form. The choice of material underscores the duality at the heart of the design: the tension between the tangible and the illusory, the solid and the ephemeral. The armchair’s presence is captivating, whether it stands alone as a statement piece or in a series, where the repetition of its form amplifies the sensation of motion

Designed in Switzerland and manufactured in Italy, Johan is exclusive to studiotwentyseven. Custom finishes and sizes are available on request, making Johan adaptable while maintaining its conceptual integrity
