Named for the greek word for legacy, the KLIRONOMIA collection invites us to contemplate our place in the rich tapestry that is our shared history. With Monumental volumes that recall the architecture of antiquity and contemporary geometries that point towards the future, PErDIOS reminds us that we are the inheritors of the great human story and have the responsibility to carry It forward
Johan
a study in contrasts, Johan challenges the boundary between stillness and movement, drawing inspiration from architectural theory and sculptural form, particularly the concept of “static motion.” This paradoxical idea—how a heavy, immobile object can suggest movement—became the driving force behind the design. Johan embodies this concept, challenging our perception and inviting contemplation on how stillness can evoke dynamism
Through careful study of architectural masterpieces, including the works of Le Corbusier and Valerio Olgiati, perdios distilled the essence of static motion into a form that is both simple and radical. The chair’s lines and angles are meticulously calculated to create a sense of movement, even as it remains firmly grounded. Its shape is at once commanding and fluid, achieving a balance between strength and grace
The velvet upholstery enhances this effect, adding a layer of softness that contrasts with the chair’s bold form. The choice of material underscores the duality at the heart of the design: the tension between the tangible and the illusory, the solid and the ephemeral. The armchair’s presence is captivating, whether it stands alone as a statement piece or in a series, where the repetition of its form amplifies the sensation of motion
