The LS36 vase develops the Dark Rosewood collection’s central dialogue between rosewood and brass into a sculptural meditation on duality, balance, and union. Bisected by a diagonal cut that destabilizes strict symmetry and infuses the object with unexpected dynamism, the form transforms a static container into an active composition of forces

Conceived as warm embrace of leaves, the intersecting bodies seem less assembled than intertwined in an intimate gesture. That tension between solidity and flow animates the work as the sinuous surfaces appear to coil and envelop, while the contrasting finishes operate in counterpoint, generating a rhythmic interplay of shadow and reflection

In LS36, vessel and sculpture become indistinguishable. While it functions as a vase, it is a study in embrace, tension, and the transformative potential of material

Luca Stefano

Born Milan, Italy, 1985

A Milan-based designer and architect, Stefano produces limited edition furniture and lighting pieces that embrace the rawness and simplicity of material, resulting in unique designs that represent a modern interpretation of design luxury. Always searching for new unexpected combinations of materials and forms, Stefano’s aesthetic vocabulary draws upon art, geometry, traditional Milanese architecture, and brutalism. Every piece is handcrafted with the highest standards and attention to detail of Italian artisans

After graduating from the Politecnico Di Milano with Honors, Stefano developed his artistic sensibility and style at prestigious interior design firms. In 2020 he founded his studio to create custom and limited edition pieces for art and design collectors
