Jan Garncarek

Born Warsaw, Poland, 1988

A Polish object designer, Garncarek seeks to achieve balance between design and sculpture as a form of conceptual design. His meticulously crafted objects are strongly influenced by his grandfather, a designer of traditional small goods. In his unique language of visual expression that highlights massive spherical forms, Garncarek combines modernity with tradition, pushing the boundaries of contemporary design. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Garncarek also studied in Politecnico di Milano in Italy. He worked in various fields of design before founding his own studio in 2016
