Atelier Constant’s Caserta sculptural works stand as meditations on material integrity and form. The collection embodies a dialogue between raw geology and refined craftsmanship, between the primal force of stone and the precision of human touch. Each work is hewn from a single, massive block, becomes a timeless testament to nature’s permanence shaped by human vision

The Flint table emerges from Pierre Bleue, a distinctive blue limestone quarried between Belgium and France. Its linear composition, marked by subtle variations in elevation and spacing, recalls the meeting of tectonic layers or the precise gap of a fault line. The restrained geometry underscores the innate texture and tone of the stone, balancing rigor with quiet imperfection

XAVIER DEHAYE

Xavier Dehaye

Born Bayonne, France, 1997

A Parisian-based furniture design studio founded by Xavier Dehaye, Atelier Constant is driven by a commitment to artistic excellence, meticulous craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of pushing the boundaries of design. Its work is guided by Dehaye’s desire to create meaningful objects, grounded in his passion for arts, craftsmanship, and deep appreciation for the intricate detailing of mid-century design. At the core of Dehaye’s philosophy lies the belief that every object he creates should embody a unique narrative that seamlessly combines artistry and functionality

Drawing from his experiences gained through studies and apprenticeships at design-focused firms in both Netherlands and Japan, Dehaye’s practice draws upon the artisan techniques and aesthetic principles of these two countries, as well as the rich history of decorative arts in his native France. Each work celebrates the interaction between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, extensive research and irreverent vision, historical memory and dreams of the future

At Atelier Constant, the manufacturing process is just as essential as the final result, often revealing subtle imperfections that reinforce the authenticity and singularity of each work. The result is extraordinary objects that attest to both the hand of the artist and the innovation of contemporary design tools
