The Caillou, Cailloux collection is born from a shared memory: two friends, feet in the tidepools of Belle-Île-en-Mer, searching for the perfect pebble among thousands scattered across the shore. Each discovery was a small revelation, an object both ordinary and singular, carrying the tactile joy of childhood and the quiet magic of time spent in nature. Years later, that gesture of searching became the foundation for this sculptural dialogue between memory, material, and scale

Reinterpreting the smooth, convex stones of their youth, Marc-Antoine Barrois and Antoine Bouillot transform the humble pebble into monumental form. Using high-definition 3D scanning and digital modeling developed with designer Guillaume Bellon, each original beach stone is enlarged and recast as a sculpture that doubles as a seat or bench. The resulting works, at once monumental and tender, translate the perfection of natural imperfection into contemporary form

Carved from marble and anchored on raw wooden bases, the works balance sensual curves with structural gravity. They are not conceived for languid comfort, but for active contemplation, inviting us to become that child whole instinctively climbs, leans, or perches upon a stone warmed by the sun. The surfaces, gently irregular and polished to a luminous finish, retain the tactile imprint of nature’s shaping hand

In a nod to the collection’s playful spirit, each work bears a name beginning with C for Caillou or CX for Cailloux, reflecting both its origin and its individuality. Together, these works bridge the gap between the poetic and the sculptural, between childhood memory and refined craftsmanship

Handcrafted in France, the Caillou, Cailloux collection captures a rare balance of innocence and artistry. What began as a gesture of discovery on a summer shore becomes, through stone and scale, a meditation on touch, time, and the enduring beauty of treasures made so by memory

Biography

Bellonbouillot

Founded Paris, France, 2020

Paris-based designers Guillaume Bellon & Antoine Bouillot unite to bring their unparalleled instincts for balance and sophistication to BELLONBOUILLOT, where they celebrate quality, precision, and uncompromising attention to detail in limited edition and custom furniture pieces. Guided by the belief that design defines human progress, they  create pieces with unique identity, rich craftsmanship, and grounded timelessness

Finding inspiration in the natural world and the poetry of everyday life, their clean lines, and organic forms create a dialogue between culture and nature through geometric mastery and spontaneous shapes. Their furniture is constructed in the tradition of generations-old savoir-faire: with noble materials and artisanal know-how. In a time of quick consumption, they make pieces that last

Bouillot is the founder and creative director of the architecture and interior design firm Honneur Society, which has created celebrated commercial and residential spaces around the world. Bellon is the founder of Shinoda, an art object and furniture studio, and Pathengers, a luxury timepiece company
