Each work simultaneously transports us into the vast unknown of space and returns to the fundamental human drive to create meaning and beauty from the randomness of life

Each work embodies a reflection on our place in the universe. Szumilas draws inspiration from the galaxies themselves: vast systems of stars and planets whose patterns echo the networks of human existence. Just as these celestial formations are bound by unseen energy, her works explore the interdependence of material and void, weight and suspension, individuality and unity

Across the collection, we are both cast into the future and reconnected with the past as the act of looking at the stars connects us with our ancestors and our descendants. Smooth, biomorphic forms evoke primordial origins, while bold geometries and refined surfaces gesture toward the future. Each work feels simultaneously ancient and futuristic, suggesting both the birth of planets and the architecture of imagined worlds
