Carved from a single block of Verde Alpi marble, the work takes the form of a quiet monolith: a domed mass of deep green and silver veining, geological in its density, elemental in its presence. At its center, a bronze ring—circular, deliberate, timeless—frames a shallow concave recess that conceals a warm LED source. The light it emits is indirect, adjustable in intensity and color temperature, and capable of a slow, barely perceptible animation that recalls, without mimicking, the movement of flames.
