Raphael Crespin

Born Paris, France, 1978

French architect and designer Raphael Crespin, based in Hong Kong, explores the intersection of design, art, and architecture through an experimental approach that embraces the creative potential of emerging digital tools. His work investigates new ways of conceiving design processes and architectural narratives, with a particular interest in the possibilities offered by technology

Prior to establishing his practice, Crespin worked with architecture and design studios across Asia and Europe. As a postdoctoral researcher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, he participated in the Grand Challenge Program for Sustainable Built Environment, in association with MIT. He also contributed to the development of advanced design strategies for numerous award-winning projects at dECOi Architects, recognized for its radical approach to architecture. Crespin holds a Master of Design and Interior Architecture from ESAG Penninghen in Paris
