STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN has just opened on the ground floor of the historic Textile Building in Tribeca. “We live across the street, in the ‘Jenga’ tower by Herzog & de Meuron. We wanted the new space to be an extension of our home”, explain Nacho Polo and Robert Onuska, founder and director of the gallery. “Anish Kapoor’s public sculpture at the base of ‘Jenga’ is visible from the gallery and creates an interesting dialogue with the works on view”.
