MODULO
by Stefania Digregorio, Mirko Sala Tenna & Enrico Serventi

Curators Nacho Polo & Robert Onuska present MODULO by Stefania Digregorio, Mirko Sala Tenna & Enrico Serventi

Following its Milan Design Week debut, the collection arrives at STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN New York Gallery

At Milan Design Week, April 2026, Etereo—a collective of architects, artists, and designers based in Dubai and Milan, founded by Mirko Sala Tenna and Stefania Digregorio—previewed MODULO, a limited edition collectible design collection presented for the first time in Milan, Italy. Following this debut, Polo & Onuska now bring MODULO to their New York flagship gallery

Poised between memory and modernity, MODULO is a rigorously conceived series that pays homage to the formalist discipline and material experimentation of 1970s Italian design. Created by Stefania Digregorio, Mirko Sala Tenna, and Enrico Serventi, the collection reimagines the furniture styles of that era through a contemporary lens—rooted in the aesthetics of fused and block glass that once defined the architectural interiors of the period, and built into a visual language of its own through linearity, formal simplicity, and sharp, angular lines set against captivating materials. The works engage in continuous dialogue with light and space, generating ever-changing perspectives and a palpable, alluring vitality

At the core of the series is a sustained inquiry into the relationship between object and environment. Each work functions not only as a utilitarian object but as an architectural gesture—modular, luminous, and resolutely sculptural. Anchored by glass and mirrored steel, the material palette becomes a conduit for light and reflection, animating each form with dynamic visual shifts and a refined sense of spatial interplay

“With MODULO, material and space become parts of a single narrative, constantly evolving in the eyes of those who experience it. For us, beauty is never an end in itself, it must engage with functionality and daily life.” — Mirko Sala Tenna and Stefania Digregorio

The New York presentation brings together four works from the series, each built from stacked glass cubes in dialogue with mirrored steel: the Fumoir coffee table, a side table, a console, and the floor lamp in its tallest height. Each piece is fully customizable in finish and dimension, transforming acquisition into an act of personal authorship. Also part of the wider MODULO series—though not included in this presentation—are the MODULO coffee table, a dining table, and two smaller floor lamp heights. The coffee table, designed in close dialogue with curators Polo and Onuska, embodies the collection’s ethos most fully: planes of glass and mirrored steel intersecting with deliberate precision, light entering rather than reflecting, presence alternating with near-immateriality

Handcrafted in Italy, the MODULO collection is offered in a strictly limited edition of ten pieces per element, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and its unique production number. It invites collectors to experience design not as possession, but as participation: objects in a living, evolving dialogue with the spaces and people they inhabit
