Founded Paris, France, 2017
HAOS is a Paris-based design studio founded by Sophie Gelinet and Cedric Gepner. The studio strives to create ascetic objects that feel both contemporary and timeless. With the support of French master craftsmen, it draws on traditional materials and savoir-faire to design sculptural shapes with refined and minimalist lines. Gelinet and Gepner oversee each stage of the creation process, from the first sketches to the material sourcing, ensuring that each piece comes to life true to the original intent, with no compromise in the production process
HAOS was founded in 2015, when, driven by a desire for independence and a refusal to compromise, Gelinet and Gepner designed their first lamp. In the collections that have followed, each piece is produced in small quantities, in a slow life approach close to their hearts

aluminum by haos is an avant-garde series of geometric outdoor furniture crafted from sleek and durable waxed aluminum and zinc. Crafted from two simple yet powerful materials—40×40 aluminum tubes and zinc sheets—these pieces stand as industrial, ready-made components. Derived from these unassuming elements, the furniture bears the scars of their modest extraction and embraces reductive geometry and repetition. This raw and elemental approach exudes a striking contemporary resonance, creating objects of elementary presence that transcend the boundaries of conventional outdoor furniture. The waxed finish not only adds a lustrous sheen but also enhances the metal’s resistance to corrosion, ensuring the works withstand the elements and maintain their allure for years to come
