A meditation on shelter, grace, and the balance between earth and sky, the Voltige collection tells the story of a quiet ascent. Its name, meaning “aerial movement” in French, captures the delicate tension that defines the works: the moment of suspension before flight, when stillness and motion coexist

Each work begins with a gesture of protection. The seat, shaped like a half-egg, forms a cocoon, a place of rest and return. Rising above it, the backrest unfurls like wings, wrapping the sitter in an embrace that feels both tender and strong. The dialogue between these two forms — one rounded and grounding, the other open and ascending — creates a sense of suspended balance, as though the works were caught mid-flight

Clad in sumptuous bouclé wool, the surfaces invite touch. The fabric’s textured softness suggests warmth and intimacy, transforming the act of sitting into something sensorial and slow, inviting us to settle into a sanctuary that feels shaped by air

Entirely handcrafted in France by master artisans, Voltige is the result of a precise choreography between vision and material, sculpture and comfort, action and contemplation. Quiet presences poised between repose and flight, the works seem to breathe, as if waiting to take wing
