Biography

Emma Donnersberg

Born Montmorency, France, 1984

A French interior and furniture designer, Donnersberg approaches design as a blank canvas, using spatial organization and an array of colors and textures to generate the highest level of luxury. Inspired by the inexhaustible forms of the natural world and an idiosyncratic cross-cultural aesthetic, Donnersberg creates sculptural furniture that marries function and beauty to feel utterly vibrant and alive. Celebrating organic forms and materials, she works with the finest craftsmen to ensure excellence in her singular collections

Donnersberg earned degrees from Tulane University and Parsons School of Design before opening her interior design agency in 2008. She maintains offices in New York and Paris

MICHEL AMAR

Born Casablanca, Morocco, 1972

An architect and designer based in Paris, Amar is known for his discreet approach and confidentiality in creating elegant interiors for fine private residences and luxury hotels around the world. His designs for furniture, lighting and decorative objects reflect Amar’s passion for material and his commitment to painstaking, impeccable craftsmanship. Working primarily with Onyx and Marble, Amar creates simple and sensuous forms that reveal the organic beauty of the materials. His collection, at once primordial and ultra-contemporary, is singular in its timeless elegance

Amar founded his architecture and design firm Agence Cargo Rouge in 1997, and quietly built a reputation among France’s elite for the elegance, restraint, and detail of his designs. His public projects include Hotel Elysees and Le Royal Hotel in Paris
