The Panier Collection draws inspiration from the simplicity and functionality of coracles, the traditional wicker boats whose curved form once carried travelers across quiet waters. Each table, console, and side table begins with a sculptural wooden frame, its lines bending and flowing as if woven by hand. The rounded contours recall the suppleness of a basket or the hull of a boat transforming solid wood into a form that seems to float and breathe

This sense of movement is grounded by a deliberate simplicity. The legs taper to their most essential expression, resting on elliptical or circular bases that echo the natural rhythm of the design. Above, a smooth stone top introduces a contrasting stillness, its pale surface reflecting light like the surface of a calm river. In the juxtaposition between the organic warmth of wood and the mineral rigor of stone, the entire work is unified. As a boat becomes itself when placed in water, the components achieve meaning only in conversation with each other

Each work is meticulously handcrafted in France by artisans who translate ancient methods into contemporary precision. Every curve is shaped to reveal the natural grain of the wood, every joint an expression of care and equilibrium. The stone, cut and polished by hand, lends permanence to the collection’s otherwise fluid sensibility

In Panier, material and metaphor converge. The works seem to float between earth and water, structure and spirit, becoming vessels of calm strength that invite reflection on the enduring beauty of form and ingenuity of craft
