Conceived as a deeply personal gesture, Tourain’s L’Offrande Coffee Table is an offering from the artist to Julie, his partner in both life and work. More than an object, it is a quiet dedication, a reflection of the life they have built together and of a bond that continues to unfold with time

Its expansive tabletop, finished in a cosmic patina, evokes something boundless, a relationship in constant motion, shaped by the years and forever evolving. Beside it, the raw cast surface carries its own contrasts. Rough yet delicate, luminous yet shadowed, it speaks to the complexity of sharing both a life and a creative practice, where beauty, intensity, and imperfection inevitably exist alongside one another

The base extends this duality. Its dark, weathered exterior parts to reveal a polished golden interior, a source of warmth and light held within. The gesture becomes a quiet symbol of what endures between two people, a glow that remains present even through darker moments

Handcrafted in Belgium in hand-cast and patinated brass, the table brings textured and mirror-polished surfaces into dialogue, creating a composition that feels both intimate and sculptural

At once functional and profoundly personal, L’Offrande is ultimately a portrait of a relationship expressed through material: imperfect, layered, and enduring
