With the Octane Collection, Vallin continues his pursuit of a design language defined by sensual form and tactile presence to offer works that are at once architectural and intimate, commanding and inviting, monumental and unmistakably human. Building on the visual vocabulary first introduced in his Chubby Collection (2021), the series further refines the voluptuous geometries and rounded volumes of Colombian artist Fernando Botero that inspired that series, translating their sensual vitality into functional, inhabitable forms

Each work is conceived as both sculpture and seat, an exploration of the point where perception meets touch. The inflated contours, rendered with precise craftsmanship, create a visual rhythm that alternates between abstraction and approachability. Seen from a distance, each work appears as a pure sculptural volume defined by its monolithic presence. As one approaches, the work reveal their true nature: tactile, welcoming forms that invite both touch and repose. The inclusion of a sconce extends the dialogue beyond seating, casting light across the curves and accentuating the shadows that animate each surface

Handcrafted in Italy and in numbered edition, the Octane collection unites Vallin’s language of sensual form with artisan precision to create works that transform perception itself into a tactile experience, inviting both the eye and the body to question, explore, and ultimately surrender to form
