Born Paris, France, 1979
A designer based in Paris, Balzano creates minimal, absolute, and timeless furniture objects and interiors. He seeks to uncover emotional resonance in the dialogue between shape and material and reveals the poetry in the relationship between scale, light, and space. Guided by the principle that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, Balzano’s work combines noble materials, purity of lines, and hyper-detailed architectural references with everyday functionality. He makes limited edition pieces for select art and design galleries around the world
After studying architecture and design at Penningen, Balzano joined the famed studio of Joseph Dirand. In 2018, he opened his furniture studio while continuing his work as an interior architect

SWAN IV COLLECTION
The Swan iv collection by balzano reveals the artist’s unparalleled ability to create exquisitely elegant and deceptively simple works that are as timeless as they are contemporary. Like the swan for which it is named, the collection balances uncommon grace and breathtaking strength. Studies in contrapuntal artistry, each work in the collection at once feels weightless yet monumental, ephemeral yet everlasting, novel yet classic
The Graceful simplicity of form echoes the principles of harmony in both eastern and western antiquity. Handcrafted by master artisans in france, each work in the SWAN IV collection is in a Strictly limited edition of twelve and Signed. Balzano’s exacting vision and uncompromising attention to detail are evident in each of these extraordinary works
