Exclusively for STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN, Collection O distills architectural ornamentation into a language of structural integrity and formal restraint. The interplay of fluted surfaces, dovetail joinery, and carefully proportioned volumes results in a series that is at once elemental and sophisticated—an exploration of form distilled to its essence

Rooted in the classical traditions of cannelures and rudentures, the collection transforms these ornamental details from surface embellishments into essential structural elements. In classical architecture, cannelures refer to the vertical fluting often found on columns that create a rhythmic interplay of light and shadow, while rudentures are small, convex moldings that fill the lower portion of fluted grooves, adding further textural detail. The dovetailing of rudentures—typically a decorative motif—into a fundamental joint underscores a conceptual shift, elevating craftsmanship to a dialogue between utility and ornament

Comprising tables and occasional seating, the series embodies a rudimentary yet refined aesthetic, where pure geometric volumes articulate a quiet monumentality. Handmade in France, The works reference primordial communal rituals—gathering around a table or a fire—where form becomes a convivial conduit for shared human experience
