The Carrousel collection is an invitation to wonder, where each seat becomes a habitable sculpture, an object of desire suspended in weightlessness. The distinctly contemporary aesthetic draws inspiration from the enchanted world of carousels, where childhood and dreams blend with the precision of perfect geometries. Each work—armchair, ottoman, chair, sofa, or stool—hovers in a state of quiet suspension, like a reverie held momentarily still. Designed around the perfect circle, these sculptural forms speak the language of movement and stillness, of weight and air, of touch and light

The base, a sculptural tripod in solid oak, encircles and supports the floating seat, creating a dialogue between the strength of wood and the fluidity of form. This floating effect, heightened by the spherical design allow the works to be admired from every angle. The wool bouclé fabric, meticulously stretched, accentuates the purity of the lines, the softness of the curves, and the cocoon-like effect, transforming each seat into a refuge that is both intimate refuge and spectacular sculpture

A French designer, Boutillier is renowned for his functional sculptures—objects conceived not merely to inhabit a space but to activate it, inviting contemplation and stirring the imagination. Guided by a passion for pure, sculptural aesthetics, he seeks to transcend functionality and create fully sensorial encounters. Boutillier’s creative process is a continuous exploration of the exquisite tensions that shape the world: the rigorous and the fluid, the mineral and the organic, the ephemeral and the lasting. Their influence is evident in his pursuit of balance, where pure lines meet rich materials and functionality carries a subtle lyricism. To bring his creations to life, Maxime Boutillier selects only noble, natural, and authentic materials, collaborating closely with exceptional French artisans. Based in Paris, Boutillier is a graduate of the prestigious ESAG Penninghen. Before establishing his own studio, he joined Elliott Barnes Interiors and later Joseph Dirand Architecture, where he refined his design language over seven years. His experience working on luxury ready-to-wear boutiques, star-rated hotels, and private residences expanded his creative horizons and sharpened his eye. His work has since been featured at leading design fairs and in major international publications
