HANDCRAFTED IN POLAND

The Screen exists at the intersection of painting, object, and architecture. Conceived as a hand-painted work of art, it is the result of a close collaboration between Jan Garncarek and artist Ewelina Makosa, where form, color, and spatial presence are treated as inseparable. Each screen is not an image applied to an object, but a mood given structure. The Screen is an emotional atmosphere translated into a three-dimensional presence
Unlike a wall painting, which remains fixed and passive, the Screen actively intervenes in space. It interrupts sightlines, redirects movement, and reshapes the geometry of a room. In doing so, it intensifies perception, allowing color and gesture to influence not only how a space is seen, but how it is inhabited. The screen becomes a mediator between architecture and interior life, operating as both boundary and invitation
Each work is hand-painted to capture a distinct emotional register shaped by the artist’s intuition and the specific context in which the screen will live. Color is chosen with deliberation and sensitivity, calibrated to produce a desired atmosphere. The painterly surface retains the trace of the hand, reinforcing the sense that each work is singular and irreproducible
Brass elements introduce a subtle architectural counterpoint, grounding the painted surface with material clarity and structure. This dialogue between fluid gesture and precise construction defines the screen’s character, balancing expressiveness with discipline
