Jimmy Delatour
Born Paris, France, 1985
A French designer and art director, Delatour is driven by his love for architecture and furniture design masters. With sharp, radical lines and experimentation with shape and material, he combines his contemporary sensibility with inspired references to Louis Kahn, Tadao Ando, and Agustin Hernandez Navarro. Delatour’s first collection of furniture focused on copper and concrete, while his limited edition pieces for STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN are architectural explorations of arches, full volumes, and travertine
Based in Paris, Delatour graduated from Penninghen in 2008 and founded his own studio Delatour Design Paris. As an art director and Brand Designer, he has worked on projects for brands including Sonia Rykiel, Hédiard, Rodin Museum, Paris Opera, Orange and Peugeot

Xpo collection
Exclusively for studiotwentyseven, delatour’s xpo collection pays homage to the clean geometries and immense volumes of the most ambitious brutalist and modernist architecture. Grand in scale, each work in the collection can stand alone as monumental micro-architecture, anchoring any interior as an iconic building anchors a city. The works can also serve as modules that can be arranged in endless variations to create a resplendent interior topography. Like the seminal buildings they reference, each work is an artistic masterpiece in it own right and also functions as a canvas for contemporary life, inviting the collector to display art, precious objects, and domestic curiosities
Handmade in limited edition by master artisans in France, the xpo collection is crafted in light oakwood, brushed and veneered on a wooden frame, which is highlighted with naturally oxidizing brass plates, creating counter-reflections of light in the cavities of the wood and on the ground. These are accented with Cast brass wall lamps that warm any space
An invitation to imagination, the xpo collection offers a restrained palette with which bold collectors can create one-of-a kind architectural dreamscapes
