Maxime Boutillier

A French designer and interior architect, Boutillier is a lover of pure and sculptural aesthetics. Guided by the notion that ‘creation is the art of foretelling one’s past, his contemporary designs are rooted in the rich history of French decorative arts. Carefully considering the intimate relationship between material and shape, Boutillier creates furniture singular in its elegant balance of history and the world to come. After graduating from Penninghen in Paris, Boutillier worked with Joseph Dirand for seven years. He founded his own studio in 2020
