The Angele Chandelier is defined by a quiet, watchful presence. At its center, a cone-shaped form descends with clarity and purpose, casting a voluminous, protective glow from above. Light gathers within the form before spilling outward, creating an atmosphere that feels both sheltering and expansive

The chandelier balances apparent opposites. It is solid in its geometry yet ethereal in effect, filling a space without weighing it down. Its scale registers immediately, but its presence remains restrained, as if held in suspension rather than asserted. The object occupies volume through light as much as through form

The Angele carries an unmistakable architectural resonance. Its silhouette recalls a bell suspended in a cathedral, poised in a moment of stillness before sound. That sense of anticipation lends the chandelier a contemplative quality, one that invites pause and awareness rather than spectacle

Placed in an entryway or above a dining table, the Angele does not simply illuminate. It establishes a mood of quiet reverence, transforming everyday thresholds and gatherings into moments of reflection. In its measured glow and disciplined form, the chandelier offers a contemporary meditation on protection, presence, and space

Biography

Stephen Antonson

Born Pittsburgh, USA, 1966

Crowned the master of plaster by Architectural Digest, celebrated plaster artisan Antonson has reintroduced the age-old medium to the interior design trade in his collection of furnishings, lighting, and accessories. Working out of his Brooklyn atelier, Antonson creates every piece by hand. He paints plaster onto his designs in layers with a brush, then meticulously sculpts and sands it repeatedly to achieve objects of surreal beauty. A classically trained sculptor and painter, the engaging designer taps into his broad knowledge of these disciplines to inform his work

Antonson has recently added bronze to his offerings. He welcomes collaboration; he has worked with dozens of clients to create original one-of-a-kind, custom pieces
