Monumental, symbolic, and deeply rooted in history, the Olympia Chandelier is a contemporary reimagining of Hellenistic forms while embracing the spirit of celebration that has accompanied them. Anchored by a central vertical pillar, the composition recalls the columnar structures of ancient Greece, forms that once framed both ritual and festivity within sacred and civic space
Encircling this axis, a disciplined ring of uplights surrounds the core like Olympic torches. Their glow is both ceremonial and triumphant, emanating upward and downward in equal measure. Light activates the space above and below, suggesting not a single moment of spectacle, but an enduring cycle of honor, gathering, and shared experience. The effect is at once reverent and uplifting
The cone’s gilded interior introduces an inner brilliance that feels almost votive, while the exterior remains composed and grounded. The matte plaster surface, intricately brushed by hand, absorbs light and emphasizes texture, carrying the weight of tradition and craft. Together, gold and plaster articulate celebration and history, glow and gravity
Named for Olympia, the chandelier reflects the site’s legacy as both a place of athletic triumph and cultural continuity. The Olympia Chandelier holds these impulses in balance: festive yet solemn, luminous yet grounded
