Scorpion is a UNIQUE CERAMIC SCULPTURE that is a highlight of Kaminski’s Womb series. composed of candlelight and clay, scorpion is an elemental sanctuary where bodies dance around a fire in a ritual sacrifice. The synthesis of light, heat, and sound produce a unique sensory experience, evoking a tribal dance. Scorpion beckons to us in its hypnotic stillness, drawing us closer despite the sense of danger. Like all the works in the womb series, scorpion questions the limits of fertility and ponders the myth of creation. It invites us to consider the beauty of the violence that is inherent in creation, whether there something sublime in the risk, pain, and destruction that comes with birthing a new life, a new idea, a new form
Scorpion asks daring questions about what it is to make something and how we might be transformed and transfigured by the intensity of creative birth. In addition to being an ode to strength and the inner capacity within us, Scorpion proposes looking at embodiment as an act of endurance, reminding us of our ability to withstand physically, emotionally, and spiritually through the innate human drive to create

Katharina Kaminski is emerging as one of the exciting new talents in the Parisian creative scene. For our series “Une fille, Un style,” the Uruguayan artist opened the doors of her Parisian apartment, which also serves as her studio. The space, with its clean lines and minimal furnishings, is designed like a blank canvas, allowing the artist to let her subconscious speak through her highly recognizable works, imagined as a reflection on the concept of fertility beyond its purely biological aspect
