The Morphe Collection was created with the purpose of exploring the different possibilities of marble, a solid and durable material that has the capacity to transform. In each work, Cárcamo investigates how this seemingly immovable, unchangeable material can adapt to new forms and uses. In proposing marble as a medium for metamorphosis, the collection also subverts our assumptions about marble—as monumental and antiquated—inviting us to consider instead how it can become a vital, expressive material for daily contemporary life

Through a play of weight, counterweight, straight cuts, and organic shapes, the collection aims to break with convention, creating works that challenge the very laws of the material. Cárcamo reimagines marble as a material capable of adopting non-existent and complex forms. Each work invites reflection on the tension between solidity and lightness, challenging our very perceptions of matter itself. Using both contemporary and traditional techniques—from innovative digital modeling to heritage artisanship—Morphe reveals the true potential of marble, demonstrating that an apparently rigid material can adapt and renew itself according to modern needs

This Morphe Chair transforms the rigidity of stone into a fluid and enveloping form. Its design balances weight and lightness, and seems to defy gravity. A functional sculpture, the cold texture of marble and its unique veining invite touch, while its organic silhouette suggests movement. Here, the material comes to life in a dialogue between solidity and softness

In a play of opposites, the series of three Morphe Tables arises from the dialogue between rational geometry and organic fluidity. Their upper surfaces, defined by straight cuts and planes, serve as canvases for use, while their bases, sculpted with smooth curves and slender volumes, reveal the unexpected malleability of the stone. Solidity meets fragility, weight meets lightness, and in this apparent contradiction, a purely functional harmony emerges. These tables are everyday sculptures, where the nature of marble—with its veining and unique textures—becomes the protagonist of a sensory experience

The Morphe Collection is exclusively for STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN and in strictly limited editions of twelve
