Giorgio Bonaguro
Born Italy, 1977
An Italian interior and industrial designer, Bonaguro works between Europe and Brazil. His linear style is rooted in a deep research practice, an interest in mixing materials, and a dedication to crossing the disciplines of product design, interior design, exhibition, and lighting. With a background in Engineering, Bonaguro creates clean, efficient designs that strive to be enjoyable, accessible, and sustainable. Bonaguro regularly presents his work at international fairs such as Design Miami, Design Basel, London Design Festival, and Operae
After studying Mechanical Engineering in Modena, Bonagura obtained a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Interior Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. He has worked in several design studios in Milan including Lorenzo Palermi and Francesco Faccin

A sophisticated blend of minimalist design and sculptural elegance, the timeless Eclipse series takes inspiration from the signature curves of Oscar Niemeyer’s architectural masterpieces. Just as Niemeyer sculpted concrete to create fluid forms in his buildings, Bonaguro uses natural stones like Travertine, Calacatta Oro, and Arabescato to achieve a similar effect in collectible design
The interplay of curved elements and expansive surfaces in the collection mirrors Niemeyer’s approach to creating balance between structure and visual lightness. Channeling Niemeyer’s philosophy of minimalism and grace, the restrained forms, stripped of any superfluous details, enhance the purity of the design, emphasizing the dialogue between mass and void, light and shadow
Bonaguro elevates the graceful simplicity of form with a selection of exquisite natural stone finishes: richly veined Gold Calacatta and Purple Calacatta marbles imbue the tables with a sense of luxury, their intricate veining patterns creating a dynamic contrast against the collection’s minimalist lines.
