The VOID Collection is a family of low tables conceived as a landscape of softened, continuous forms. Drawing on the language of topography, the works translate valleys, ridges, and elevations into a composed field of volumes, where surface becomes terrain

Each work is structured through a careful interplay of solids and hollows. Forms are layered, carved, and embedded within one another, creating a shifting composition that invites the eye to move across and into the surface. Depressions open into deeper voids, while raised areas anchor the composition, producing a sense of depth that is both measured and fluid

Constructed from painted and spray-coated polystyrene, the works achieve a seamless, monolithic appearance. The material allows for precise control of curvature and continuity, smoothing transitions between elements while preserving the clarity of the overall structure. The result is a surface that feels at once natural and abstract, as though a fragment of landscape had been distilled and reconfigured

Despite their sculptural complexity, the forms remain grounded and legible. The compositions are carefully balanced, with each void and volume positioned in relation to the whole. The tables function as horizontal fields, where use and perception intersect

Handcrafted in Italy and produced in limited edition, the works of the VOID Collection transform the domestic surface into a spatial study of absence and presence

BIOGRAPHY

Simone Fanciullacci

Born Genova, Italy, 1982

A Milanese designer, Fanciullacci considers his practice to be artistic research on THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FORM AND SPACE. THE AIM BEHIND THIS QUEST IS TO UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE VOLUMES THAT GIVE LIFE TO A FORM, THE RHYTHM THAT CHARACTERIZES THEM, AND THE sense of BALANCE or DISEQUILIBRIUM THAT THEY EVOKE. His extraordinary sculptural works EMERGe FROM an EXPLORATory process OF HANDS-ON experimentation IN SCULPTURE, COLLAGE, DRAWING, and technical innovation. In This AESTHETIC AND POETIC INVESTIGATION, Fanciullacci finds FREEdom in playing WITH DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND MATERIALS, eventually giving LIFE TO his UNIQUE WORKS AND OBJECTS

Fanciullacci produces his singular works in CLOSE COLLABORATION WITH the finest ITALIAN CRAFTSMEN.
