HANDCRAFTED IN POLAND

The Metropolis Pendant Lamp stands as a foundational work within Garncarek’s Metropolis collection. The pendant is defined by restraint and precision, where pure geometry, noble materials, and exacting craftsmanship converge to create a work that is both architectural and intimate. Equally at home in rustic or urban interiors, industrial spaces or refined settings, the pendant brings a quiet sense of order and radiance wherever it is placed
At the heart of the design is a precisely spun brass sphere, crafted using traditional metal-spinning techniques, paired with a flat brass plate positioned to receive and temper light. The dialogue between these two elements defines the lamp’s character. The sphere conceals the light source entirely, redirecting illumination onto the plate, where it is reflected and diffused with softness and control. Light becomes ambient rather than declarative, shaping space through glow rather than glare
The brass itself plays a crucial role. Hand-polished and subtly irregular, its surface carries an extraordinarily rich texture that deepens the lamp’s simple volumes. The result is an object that feels glamorous without ostentation and minimalist without austerity. Patina and precision coexist, lending warmth and depth to the geometry
Handcrafted in Poland entirely from solid brass, the pendant is produced using time-honored methods that allow craft and artistry to operate as one. The result is an object that carries both material intelligence and quiet refinement, bringing a sense of beauty, warmth, and sophistication to any space
