Suspended between reflection and form, the Modulo Coffee Table unfolds as a quiet meditation on light, memory, and material. Conceived by Etereo—Stefania Digregorio, Mirko Sala Tenna, and Enrico Serventi—in close dialogue with curators Nacho Polo and Robert Onuska, the work channels the spirit of 1970s Italian design into something at once reverent and strikingly new

Planes of glass and mirrored steel intersect with deliberate precision, recalling the architectural language of a past era while dissolving its boundaries. Light does not simply touch the surface, it enters, refracts, and lingers. Reflections fragment and recombine, casting fleeting geometries that shift with the day, transforming the table into a living composition

There is a sense of rhythm in its structure, an interplay of weight and transparency, of presence and disappearance. At times, it feels almost immaterial; at others, resolutely sculptural. Modulo resists stillness. It invites movement, perception, and return

More than a coffee table, it exists as an architectural fragment. An object that holds space as much as it occupies it. Its modularity suggests endless variation, while its clarity of form anchors it in a disciplined, almost meditative order

On view for the first time during Milan Design Week 2026, Modulo enters the international stage as both debut and statement—an exploration of light, structure, and collectibility within one of design’s most revered contexts

Handcrafted in Italy and produced in a strictly limited edition of ten, each piece carries its own subtle distinctions. Through a curated palette of materials and tones, modulo offers a dialogue between maker and collector, an opportunity to shape not only an object, but an atmosphere

BIOGRAPHY

Stefania Digregorio Born Giussano, Italy, 1985
Mirko Sala Tenna Born Sondrio, Italy, 1986
Enrico Serventi Born Brescia, Italy, 1989

Founded by Italian designers and architects Stefania Digregorio and Mirko Sala Tenna, and working with lead architect Enrico Serventi, Etereo stands at a crossroads of cultures and influences and acts as a bridge between tradition and modernity. With an astute understanding of architecture, Italian heritage, and Middle Eastern influences, Etereo draws creative energy from nature’s perfect opposites: strength and delicacy, stillness and motion

Blurring the boundaries between design and art, Etereo creates works that transcend functionality to become emotionally evocative and rich in narrative. Drawing on the studio’s sensitivity to material quality, craftsmanship, and refined aesthetics, Etereo’s unique, collectible works are the result of meticulous research and collaboration with master artisans, reflecting their dedication to quality and innovation

Digregorio’s approach is a lyrical fusion of structure and movement, shaped by a dual devotion to architecture and dance—two disciplines she explores as parallel expressions of creativity and emotion. Her works, rooted in the language of luxury, evoke a sense of rhythm and soulfulness, transforming space into an ethereal stage for everyday life

Sala Tenna’s artistic practice is a meditation on craftsmanship, where Italian tradition and the tactile intelligence of handwork converge to express a quiet, uncompromising pursuit of excellence. His sensibility was shaped by the Alpine landscape of his youth, which instilled in him a profound respect for material, detail, and the poetic potential of design born from nature

Serventi’s work is defined by a deeply personal synthesis of architectural rigor and the expressive fluidity of dance, cultivated through a life steeped in artistic tradition. Born into a lineage of art and architecture, his practice channels both precision and emotion, yielding a design language that is at once disciplined, poetic, and unmistakably his own

Part of the AD100 2025, Etereo’s work has been recognized with numerous awards including including the AD Middle East Award and Architizer A+ Awards
